This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and interesting company with multiple offices across Australia.

The company is a leading provider of event infrastructure and equipment hire across Australia. They supply flooring, marquees, seating, barriers, and furniture, offering full service from planning to installation. Known for reliability, innovation, and safety, they deliver tailored solutions for events of all sizes, trusted by organisers, venues, and councils nationwide.

The role:
  • Oversee all financial operations across the national business, including three depots.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and ensure compliance with Payroll Tax obligations.
  • Manage reporting for a global group, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Lead and supervise Accounts Administration team (team of 2), providing guidance, mentoring, and workflow oversight.
  • Maintain and optimise accounting systems, with hands-on experience in QuickBooks.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts, supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Work onsite full-time (8:30 am – 4:30 pm, 5 days per week). Working hours slight flexible
About you:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ideally be degree qualified with a Bachelor of Accounting or something similar.
  • Experience managing BAS, Payroll Tax, and company reporting obligations.
  • Advanced skills in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, MYOB, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to support business decision-making.
